Yeah I have a PF70 nickel that looks just like yours except mine is a 1993. The look of that nickel is amazing for sure. nice coins, I don't know anything about pennies but I'm trying to learn.

Ijust have to say congrats, Bob, on your great coin purchases. They look everything like what they are graded to. Could you repost one or both of them a little more clearly. Thanks, zeke.

Thanks and what part of California are you from. I lived in San Diego way back in 1956 but sorry to say I was 8 months old when we moved there and 5 years old when we left for Ohio (cold!!!) Dads job moved us around alot. Now I live in Florida most of the year (I think once your around the sea it's in your blood forever) and a little time in Indiana when I visit the kids, but when the first cool winds come I'm out of there.
Thanks and good hearing from you

I've heard that the FL climate is hard on copper cents, and some people won't even bother with them for that reason. Has that been your experience? Just curious.

Nice pickups. The blows are a little fuzzy, but from what I can tell the coins are nice.

Nice coins. Wonder how much they'd be worth outside those expensive slabs? ;)

All cynicism aside, collect what you enjoy! :)

    Hello
To be honest with you most of my collection is at my other home in Indiana locked up in my safe, my son lives there to help me take care of the house while I'm gone what a deal for him. But now that you bring it up I've bought some Indian heads here that aren't in the best shape but they are key dates that I needed as fillers for another set. I've recieved all of my new lincoln formative years pennies here but have not even opened all the boxes they came in, so maybe now that you've brought this up I will put them in something to seal them better.
    Thanks itsallngoodtime

I'm not sure but my 2010 red book list the nickel PF65 at $3.50 and this one is PF69, but some people are paying much more then that sometimes. The penny is listed PF65 at $6.00 and again it's a PF69 so I'm not sure but I got a great deal because they sold them both in 1 lot believe or not. But as you know in collecting coins it's worth what you are willing to pay for them?
