Found it on July 22 at a gas station in Rochester MN on my way back from the Black Hills. Also I found a 1942 Canadian Cent at a Gas and Go in Kadoka SD

I received 3 of them(lincs) at one time about a week and a half ago In uncirc condition.(they are in the same condition as the ones I bought off ebay)for 99 cents.
    I feel cheated now!
I also received a 1936 wheat penny at wall mart not too long ago.
I always check my change.People usually ask what I'm looking at.too funny
Sometimes if the store(gas station) is not busy, I will ask the cashier to check the till for older coins.
I frequent this store every day and they don't mind helping! They get silver coins all the time. one man used a whole roll of silver for a purchase.

Nice find Rushmore. We're still not seeing much in 2009 coinage in mid Michigan. So far I have only come across two of the Birthplace cents in change.

I started working at Walmart about a month ago. For about 2 weeks all we had in the way of pennies was rolls and rolls of the 'Formative Years' cent. I got one roll and several individual cents to go through. Rest assured I'll be keeping my eyes open for other 09 coinage and future coins that are hard to get!!
