Don't know how to link to the photo, since it is the online edition of CW. As far as Cornish Hen's comment is concerned; my remark had nothing at all to do with the Special Olympics. Indeed, they should have a more attractive coin as a commemorative.
If this is the coin you are referring to, you are right...it is ugly and makes even SBA look "hot": I think what the Special Olympics do is great...it doesn't mean that if you don't like their coin, you are putting down the program. It just is an ugly coin obverse...just like the obverses of our SBA and SAC dollar coins. Stupid is and stupid does...well, so does ugly is and ugly does.
To be completely correct none of the participants are retarded they are mentally or physically handicapped. The term RETARD is used to refer to some one that is less than they can be. This means that the handicaped are not retarded but the ignorant jerks who use the word are the retarded ones.
