Very nice.....I'm getting another box of halves tomorrow.......I'm going for 10 in a row without any silver....FIVE GRAND (I hope my streak stops at 9).

 

Went to bank today asked teller for halves and she said she has a guy that buys all of them when she gets them, actually told me she sold him $19.50 face value today and all were silver most from the 30's. I couldn't believee it but she says she never has saved them and always calls the same guy for years I think he's got a pretty good friend if you ask me.

I couldn't help but laugh when I read your reply, I saw your horse picture and the name Fast Eddie, because there was an older gentleman here in town that had AQH and was called Fast Eddie.

box from last night had 40 plus wheaties. those boxes seemed to have dried up as i only got 5 tonight from the same bank. definately were not dropped of by the same person as the others.

and, drum roll please 1 black, terrible looking 1967......but it is still 40%!

I had gone 9 boxes without a single silver coin. Finally on box 10, I got one........just one.

I then searched 1 roll of dimes (nothing) and 2 rolls of nickels and found a 1944 war nickel....the first one I've ever found!

Maybe, just maybe my silver luck is changing.....

 

bobbeth87, see what a good luck wish does! I went to alot of banks today and got 1-1976 chicago star note, a lot of birthday notes, $170 in halves(no silver or upgrades) and close to $100 in Ikes.

Bought a roll of halves from the bank awhile ago and this one here was in it. Seems like someone pulled it out of a Dansco or something like that. I thought it was pretty so I saved it.

 

Found two silver dimes 1961, 1964 in a bag of dimes

I picked up a box of halves, and asked if anyone had turned in any. A different teller heard me and said "You can have these....they're pretty ugly though." He dropped 8 halves. I took them.

People are dumping there reserve coins just to have money in the bank. A great time to search circulation coins.
