Opinions of grade/value? Not too familiar with two cent pieces, although I really think I might start collecting these. I really enjoy the unique design. Perhaps the mint should bring back the two cent piece! I mean if the penny is becoming too costly vs face value, why not!
Hard to tell the grade from such small pictures. Looks maybe be AU-50 or MS-60 but I can't really tell. Nice coin regardless.
AU and then some on detail but not unc. Don't know how your color is on the coin but looks cleaned. Still a nice coin and I tend to like these. clembo
Looks AU from the details, color somewhat splotchy (at least in photos) implying a cleaning and/or recoloring. I agree that this is a very neat design-- but like the shield nickel, some people just don't like them.
Thanks for the input gang. It's definitely circulated, and I hope if the coin has indeed been cleaned, that it doesn't eat away at the coin's surface/details. I still enjoy the coin's details enough though. Guess that's all that matters really.
