I was at a local coin show selling some Utah Quarters. Didn't really get an exceptional price, but I did convince the guy to throw in these tidbits.

In 1971, Cali Colombia hosted the 6th PanAmerican Games. This 5 Peso coin was minted to commemorate the games in Colombia. Apparently the PanAmerican Games are a subsidiary of the Olympics (I think). The coin was minted in Bogota. KM-247

The 1969 1 Peso I picked out for the heck of it even though I already have some of those.

The 1881 2½ Centavos (copperNickel) was one of the last coins minted before the United States of Colombia became the Republic of Colombia following brief small cival wars and political turmoil. Prior to this issue, the 2½ Centavo coins were minted in silver. At the time, the United States of Colombia included.

Nice coins, Colombia has a great variety of interesting coin designs. And coincidentally I just put up some Colombian coins in my CT album last night.
