I found a 2015 Homestead during my last coin dive as I like to call it. I can't find this coin listed on wechsler they don't have many Denver minted examples in fact I believe they only have one but it's nothing like this this one has floating shingle, it has cuds in more than one spot and it has what appears to be doubling that closely resembles wexler's Homestead 2015 DDR - 004 which is the faucet in the window except this is on the top window and it's a little different have a look. Very interesting as usual Way . Can't wait for the responses . What is "Wechlers" ? You mean Wexler's ? Am I correct ? You have 3 questions or concerns relating to this coin ?
Don't know about a floating roof , but I see NO cuds or remnants of Doubling .

I don't feel its my place to tell people to grade their Coins or not . Heck I do this for my interest in Errors for free plus I'm still learning too ,Way . Peace brother .

The general rule is, unless a coin is guaranteed sellable for $35 after grading, it’s not worth grading.

That's a new one on me. Most astute collectors that I've known won't bother submitting a coin for grading and attribution unless the profit potential is $100-$200.

hey Way nice pictures. yea i see what your saying about the faucet in the window, i took your picture and zoomed it a bit and you can really see what looks like a 2nd faucet

the floating shingle description you gave goes by another name, "snow on the roof"
the website that popped up from the link associated with "snow on the roof" didn't have much on it so I'm thinking its not gonna be much of anything. i wish it was man. maybe next time. good luck brother

Not you Coin but that coin has so many die chips and cracks there isn't a book large enough to list them all. You've got another one of them.

Why not send it to John Wexler and let him look at it. He could add it to his site if it really is another verity. At least you will know for sure. It is very interesting. I see a lot of die chips but no cuds.

Thanks for your time guys oh i have another question. I have found 3 Westpoints so far should i sit on them for a later time or send them off? I really feel as though I should give it 5 or 10 years

If they won't grade MS67 or better, I don't think it would be worth it.

I'm gonna set on my "W" quarters. Don't see any reason not to! It's fun to have them.

The only real point in slabbing any coin is to assure authenticity and increase the price. I think the price break for most coins is around $200.

hey Way about the "W" mint marked coins you have, ide sit on them to. who knows what will be going on in 5,10 or 15 years. in saying that, i would only sit on the coins if there were MS67 or higher. good luck man
