1909 VDB MATTE PROOF?

    A proof will have a sharp right angle edge rather than a business strike that has a slightly rounded edge. This is a 1909 Proof.

    It isn't a proof. The proof VDB has a centered dot between the D and B. Yours is closer to the D. It's MS not PR

    As an aside about the dots.

    MS VDB's can have both centered dots and those closer to the D. I just didn't want you to think that a centered dot automatically means the coin is a proof.

    It is one way to eliminate MS from Proof, because Proofs contain only the centered dot.
