Perth Stingray Proof

My Dad always said a fool and they're money soon part? Maybe but being a sucker for any coin with a mintage under 3000 I just took a shot from Talisman Coins. Any thoughts? Thanks

I used to hate such things as well, but at least its not guitar shaped. Eh, if it gets kids more interested maybe its ok, its PM and round at least, and not something else stuck onto it like a cheap jewel or crystal.

Look around, way more to get indignant about IMHO.

Looks great - lots of dangerous creatures to commemorate.

 

For the most part, I steer clear of coins like this. Occasionally one does come around that I have to have. The coke bottle cap shaped coin from a couple of years ago is one example. I don't know why but I just had to have one when I saw it.

 

Knowing the gimmicks some of these mints try, I'm surprised they didn't make it in the shape of a stingray.

 

$119 but you could get a colored Hall of Fame US Mint $52 but not near as limited or pretty. Need more of you young peps

 

I wouldn't have bought it LOL really hesitated here but the 2500 mintage sucked me in
