I am not happy with the disclaimer about not being responsible for 'cleaned or altered', the NO Returns policy, or the misleading use of PCGS price guide values for raw coins.
It is always possible to answer any buyer with " CT forum said it was ...." It is one thing to put a coin up for sale after finding it's condition ( good , bad , or BB), and quite another to run the auction and thread simultaneously. Jim
Looks like these coins were put up for sale some time last night around 9PM. Thought they were on the way to PCGS? Now the thread has taken a turn to the interesting.... :secret:
Is the o.p. also the seller of the items posted here for discussion and listed on eBay? If these items were just "picked up" then why are they simultaneously for sale even as opinions are being solicited? If the o.p. is not the seller, then why state in the first post that he just bought them, when they are for sale? Inquiring minds......
No, he bought the items, lied and said they were off to PCGS, got our opinions, and decided to sell to make a quick buck I guess.
I didn't know that Kansas City was in Colorado... These Ebay listings are disheartening, to say the least.
I Bought them at an auction recently, and i am trying to make a profit before i sell them, tell me how there is somethign wrong with that???
if they dont sell then i will send them to PCGS, untill then im going to say there raw, and my parents are seperated and i travel to colorado???? tell me jow im doing something wrong, ill take them down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your all making something out of nothing, im tying to double my money, if i dont sell them ill grade them. what have i done to be bashed,,,
Stella, First, I think you have a better chance at doubling your money by putting it either on red or black at a Roulette table in Vegas. Second, when you mislead forum members (intentionally or not), hostile reactions should be expected. You claim you are being bashed, but IMO, you have brought it upon yourself. Furthermore, your reputation on cointalk was already a little suspect. This thread only served to exacerbate that situation. Lastly, those E-Bay auctions are ridiculous. They scream scam artist all over them. No returns, third world TPG, hyping feedback of 24, hinting the coin is a problem coin yet describing it as GEM, listing PCGS prices for non PCGS coins. I think you will find that most of the members at Cointalk will find your E-Bay listings offensive. Just another contributing factor to the hostility that you are receiving in this thread. Do us all a favor and take responsibility for your own actions and don't waste our time by claiming to be a victim. The real victim is anyone who buys one of your coins in those E-Bay listings.
Verrrrrrry interesting! Verrrrrrry interesting indeed!!!! It was only a few months ago that we had drama and deception coming out of Kansas City.
you are all too quick to assume, im out.... Cancell my account please and delete my threads, i dont want any part of this site.... BY THE WAY the E-Bay items i closed, IM GONNA JUST SEND THEM OFF.... Bye cointalk, thanks for the help..
Okay Stella your loss, you could learn a lot from the people here, because it is obvious to me, from your posts, that you have no numismatic knowledge with just some deep pockets to buy coins.
