    Well I did it!!!!!!!!....
That means I have all of the keys and only 4 coins to go!!

Its a VF20 PCI....I agree with the grade and think its a nice coin for the grade.

No I'm not going to tell how much it was...but I will say that its paid off in cash--I had been saving for a LONG time

I don't know what I will move on to complete after the next 4 coins....it will either be Proof Franklins (over half way done)--or Washington Quarters (3 more to go!).

    Speedy

BTW...all marks are on the slab NOT the coin

    EDITED...To remove photos...better ones below...

I have a few of the proofs photos online right now...here are a few.
I'm doing this set funny kindof...they all must be slabbed and the must be PF66 (CAMEO is ok).
I'm also loading a NICE PF Half from 1969.....

Maybe its the scan, but I'm not seeing the VBD. I trust is a "you can see in person" thing.

    Anyway, Congrats!!! ;)

Yes...its there...you can just see it if you look in the middle for the D and B...then you can make out the V....
These were the first photos I took of it and I'm hoping to get better ones when I have more time tonight!

BTW...where it looks like a rim nick by the W in WE and T in TRUST...its not...its where PCI didn't cut the hole for the coin right....

Speedy...that was my first collection..the only 1/2 I have left is a Prf 66 Frankie 1955....the 52 Cameo due to the diamond dust polishing fetched 900.00 many years ago...wish I had em all back!

    I'm happy for you.

Not sure that I'll ever be able to save that much.

Just think...you have one of 484,000. The holy grail for Lincoln Cent collectors...a coin that will always go up and increase in value...a coin that everybody will ask about your Lincoln set. You know the question, "Yeah those are nice coins...but do you have the S-VDB?"

After you complete your set, then you will want the 1922 Plain No "D" and the 1955 DDO and the 1972 DDO and other popular varieties and errors. But wait! You will see a coin that has a better grade and eye appeal than your current slot and you may buy it to upgrade the collection...and then see another...and another....and another.

What about proofs? You may go after them as well!

Ah...the passion, the search and the hunt continues.

    WOW---I wish you had photos!!!....

    Steve and Art
    Thanks!!!!

    Gary
Sure you will....the way I did it was save State Quarter rolls...I don't see them going to the moon in my life time and don't collect them but I would buy as many rolls as I could and put them back...then when the day came I had the cash and such to pay for it...

    Midas
I don't think so...I count them as errors and at this time in my life I don't collect errors...I do have some D/D and S/S but not any errors!

    As for proofs....not now...maybe someday.

I might upgrade some of the better day coins...14-D and 09-S...they are lower but the 31-S is MS63+ and is a keeper for sure.

I got it at my dealers....I have 4 left....I'm left with the
Edited to take out dates I need....I don't want to break the rules about no offers to trade ;)

As these are A LOT easyer than the S VDB it should be easy to find them...I think I've found some already but if I haven't I hope to go to a show this year (in a month or two) so I know I would find them there!!
