I finally picked up one of the world coins that I've liked. It's a great design and interesting that it was minted in Philadelphia for Panama.

Please guess the grade and use the poll (two choices-grade and plus/no plus).

64+, I'd give it a 65 but the obv hits do it in for me. Gets a + for the flashy luster and relatively clean reverse. Nice coin

63+ as there is just too many abrasions on obverse features including face, helmet edge and field in front of face. Not as fully struck up reverse so flan roughness shows especially on legs (esp. on the right leg as ?Liberty? faces us)...Nice luster though.
IMO, above that would be a gift. I think a 65 on these is the best one should hope for at a reasonable price.

That is a lovely example, I go for MS 64. They have a special place for me as it is a coin that my Father bought in Vancouver as a birthday present for me shortly before he passed away. Here it is for anybody's interest

Is that a shiny one! MS64 but only because those luster grazes in the field are accentuated on that lustrous surface. It’s a gem if toning obscured those distractions, IMHO.

I think the grade is fair in this instance. I can see an argument for a 64 (the plus being for intense luster). The obverse has some marks (I’ve seen the same on others in this grade) and the reverse is fairly clean.

Sometimes I don't get the + deal but I guess it got a little bost for being a luster bomb
