Does this look fake or is it just the photograph?

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

    I'm sure its genuine.

However - this seller is notorious for deceptive photos which hide problems. I'd guarantee that coin has been cleaned, and will probably have some harsh hairlines in hand (or some other problem).

Do a quick search for "Great Southern Coin" and you'll see a lot of really bad info.

Yes, these guys sell genuine coins, but many of them have been played with. Their photographs sometimes have “artful renderings” too.

That dealership has a “reputation.” Virtually all of their raw coins are cleaned. All of their coins are the recipients of “beauty contest “ photographs. Strictly a “Caveat Emptor” situation with them. Their coins look great in hand. I once won a very inexpensive Morgan in one of their auctions, and it was obviously a doctored coin. I knew what I was getting, as I am familiar with them, and Morgan Dollars.

Even given their juiced photos, I can tell you with 100% certainty that quarter is cleaned.
