I am thinking about sending a small group of moderns to PCGS to grade. I sent them a questions concerning whether they would return the mint packaging on the ASE set and at what cost. I haven't heard back. I am use to NGC service I guess. So does anyone know if they return original mint packaging and at what cost?
The few orders I'd sent to PCGS containing US mint packaging - meaning, the coins were sent in their US mint plastic capsules vs. the traditionally requested 2.5"x2.5" flips - PCGS returned the capsules to me. The capsules were wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in the PCGS box along with my coins. This was included with their standard returning shipping cost. Wonder how/if they'd return the capsules if my order was 20 coins -- no extra space in the box that way...
