Very new as my mother in law received this in the mail a few weeks ago. She was going to toss it but my wife spoke up and now it's mine.
I also have one, but mine is plastic. They used them for mailing out requests for donations and memberships. Some of those mailings, not with the "coin" were for an illegal "organization" using the name and I'm not sure if they are still doing it, but the money went to their "blue pockets," not law enforcement. It's a shame what some people will do.
