Hi. Does anybody have information about a miniature US 1921 Morgan dollar made of gold? The coin is about a 1/2-inch (1 cm) in diameter and weighs about a gram. The coin has the same design as the Morgan dollar with the liberty head on the obverse and the spread eagle on the reverse. The edge is reeded. Apparently this coin is supposed to be worth a lot of money becuase only 7 were struck. However, I can't find any sources that mention this. My suspicion is that it's a jewellers fabrication. Any insight and information would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It most certainly is not a US Mint product. I don't know why anyone would want to own one but each to his own.

Not a US Mint product, as you suspect a fabrication. Value? Whatever the metal content is.
