Pawn shop pick up

    Picked this up on my Mini weekend Vacation In Traverse City Mi. Both for 20210220_135651.jpg 20210220_135720.jpg 20210220_135738.jpg $18.00 I believe I did good! Sets go for about $20.00 or more for Silver. Also got a neat Pc of Copper.

    You did quite well. The silver content of the quarters alone is worth more than what you paid.

    I think they messed up. Just priced it at proof value. I snatched it up without hesitation. Told my wife before I went in. I told her just because they get deals dont mean I can't.:). And I did

    Pawn shops can have nice finds. People pawn stuff they don't wanna sell....then they lose it sometimes. Therefore the broker gets a sweet deal on it. Sometimes I feel like coins are a nuisance to them and they just want out from under them.

    So 3 Morgans sitting there..."how bout I take all 3 of them for $xxx.xx.." Works everytime.

    We were thinking Red Lobster. She likes seafood. But I'm up for a restaurant that's Great got one?

    Those boxes were empty. They had other but costly. He did have Box of Silver pieces there that was size of a $1 But it was like a Buffalo Nickel. He wanted $5 + weight I believe.so prob $30

    Apache Trout Grill, on West Bay. Great local caught fish, prime chargrilled steaks. It's $25-35 entrees, great view of the Bay.

    For breakfast or brunch, my niece has a farm-to-table restaurant called S2S at the Grand Traverse Commons. Spectacular food!
