@galba68 you had a fantastic walk for sure. I am always so happy to see your finds and this one was a super nice one. I can almost relive my times metal detecting for ancients just looking at your posts. Please do not stop posting I love it, you have no idea how excited I get when I see a posting of yours!
Your metal detecting threads are by far some of the most interesting threads on this site, hands down. Regardless, I can't wait to see the results once they've been cleaned.
You are just out there hoovering up all the good stuff. Save some for the rest of us! Not like I will ever get to go and detect over there lol.
@galba68 great find. Whenever I see one of your MD posts, I get a smile and and open it to see what you've found. I'm not able to physically join you, but through your posts, I feel like I'm there. Congratulations, looking forward to the after cleaning photos.
I always look with great admiration at your posts and the coins you manage to find, @galba68. It makes me feel sorry that I live in a place where there's nothing to find. If there was something, your posts would certainly inspire me to try metal detecting. Having and collecting ancients is one thing, but finding them yourself... Congratulations on what looks like a great haul!
Really? Where do you live.. Antarctica? Teasure can be found almost anywhere. I follow metal detecting YouTube channels from all over the world. From Australia to Chile. I do NYC parks and people can't believe the stuff I detect! All silver. Not ancients but treasure!
