1895 P Barber Dime Fake?

    Maybe so, but you never know... it’s all good though... it’s up to me to know what I’m buying.. so it’s all good though.. I love coins and collecting even things I know nothing about.. like I stated, it’s all about the learning process which never stops... and China is teaching many lessons for sure.

    Not much to add, but when I looked at the rev closeups I could see that the plant details were very granular and consistent with a transfer die fake.

    Thanks fellow BCCS member! I wrote a couple articles on these varieties in 2019 and it's about the only thing I know much about... :) There are 11 less common transition varieties 1899-1905, which hardly anybody knows about, and it's been fun collecting examples of each.
