Yes, good point. And there are a host of other things we can take into consideration, as well. But NOS did good, IMHO, as he at least had the presence of mind to take it off-forum. Still, even after doing that, it's hard to avoid appearing snobbish, and I totally get Mike's initial reaction, too. Just cool it with the lengthy run-on sentences, as those irritate me the most!
That's not nice to say. And it's your perception, only. NOS has been contributing here long before the likes of you stumbled in. Why would anyone go to the lengths he did in those posts just to be condescending to some stranger, why don't you ask yourself that? He was trying to help but you can't give him that benefit of the doubt and have to see more. Look into your own mind before you go off analyzing others. That'd be real nice of you.
yea sure. It was an obnoxious move which is often done by people to get a sense of superiority. Everyone knew what was being said
F you guys cant spell or punchuate tings probably (grnner as well) youse need to b publicly upbraided......
hello to everyone and thanks for giving your 2 cents worth about my thread. i still consider myself new here on CT. I've commented on many posts and tried my best to give good quality information to new and old members who come to CT looking for help just like you all do. believe me i didn't ever think one of my threads here on CT would be about Good Grammar. that's my fault and i apologize. i believe I've waisted the time of a lot of good people and i apologize for that as well. as i wrote in my post a few pages back, i went back to the private message NOS sent me and apologized to him for my reply post to him and for this thread i created that pointed fingers at him. i would like to move on and talk about coins as I'm sure you all do as well. good luck to you all
Well-said, Mike. I'll apologize too for getting anyone heated up. Little things like this mushroom-cloud sometimes. That's just the way it is. Best when we realize it to just get on our horse and ride away from it.
Refreshing, back to coins. I like Morgans and the Classic Commemorative's myself but also tend to buy interesting and what I think are unique coins. Stick mostly to US coins.
