Hello all! My 50 plus year old Whitman Jefferson Nickel book fell apart on me, so bought a new one and replaced it. While moving the coins to the new book I noticed an anomaly. The nickel that my young 10 year old eyes thought was a 38D, is quite possibly a 58D with a die chip, or PMD, on the 5. If it is a die chip, it's the 1st I've ever found. What do you think?
Can't see from the pix provided, but check it for the RPM "D" - I found one of these (RPM-005/FS501) in pocket change of all places years ago. http://www.varietyvista.com/05 JN RPMs/RPMs 1958D.htm
