It is I would say unirculated condiotion maybe higher but im ot sure. Before it passed into my ownership 9 years ago my grandfather gad it and it has never been washed to my knowledge. it is dated 1935 and all the wrting is easy to see but rather small like most 5 cents thanks kanebhoy. btw my digi cams photos wont do this justice i dint think.
Welcome to the forum kanebhoy. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no way that any coin "in uncirculated condition maybe higher" can be graded or evaluated sight unseen. All that can be said for certain is that with a readable date and "easy to see" legends, its at least F (2003 Red Book value $1.25 regardless of mint). In MS63, the highest grade listed in the Red Book, it was cataloged in 2003 at $24 without a mint mark ($1,600 with a doubled die reverse), $40 with an "S", or $50 with a "D". The higher the grade, the more likely that it has increased in value since the 2003 Red Book went to press.
