What Is This Indian Penny Worth

    i think

    i think either someone has attempted (i say attempted cos its dodgy) to change a 9 to a 3 or else corrosion of the copper has made a 3 look like a 9 could be either. It could be all natural or else someone wanted his coin to be younger than its mint date.

    I think it likely the weak 9 was due to a filled die. No, it does not increase the value.
