I hit an old church site in another town over, with permission of course. Had great success. Found all the stuff pictured below. Two half dimes in one outting is pretty rare. I had only found 2 total after 7 years of detecting. The 1838 is my oldest silver now. The 1853 0 is in great condition for being in the dirt for years. The large cent was fun to find as well. 1846 small date. Cool. Days like this don't happen to often in detecting and I wanted to share em with you guys. The 3 Indian heads are 1900, 1902, 1886 type 2. Very fun day. Jim
Great finds. Thanks for sharing. That 1900 IHC looks like it may have been XF/AU when it hit the ground. They're in great shape considering the time that they must have been in the soil.
Thanks guys. Putting yourself in the right spots and being patient and persistant equals success in detecting. Hey RickieB I use a Minelab Explorer. Thanks, Jim
