Just got 50 rolls from the bank and found 23 new lincolns of both styles. only 2 wheats though:crying:
I'm in San Francisco and have not come across the 2009 Lincoln. Also went to about 15 retailers in the neighborhood and they have not seen any as well.
I've got nine 2009P formative years in the past two weeks. I haven't seen any log cabins and no D's but I'm on the east coast. I'm in Minnesota this week but found no D's yet.
I found I think 65 log cabins in a box of pennies, sold them all for around $5 for the lot On average about 30-40% of the time I am getting them in change. I feel sorry for all the suckers who paid $100 for a bank wrapped roll way back in February! Maybe they learned their lesson
I guess it is all about where you bank I have been able to visit a bunch of different banks recently and asked around and found out which banks get the new coins from the fed. I bank with Wachovia and have found 2-3 local branches which get new coins and have found about $200 worth all together in the last month or two. Sold some on ebay and am holding a bunch figuring they are gonna start bringing log cabin money once the 3rd release comes out and the formative years dry up at the banks. Still no love on the nickels and dimes though
