that'd be darned heavy, doubt it would circulate much, nor fit in a pocket well

Either an old 3 pence coin, or maybe a £3 collector coin from some other pound sterling country/territory ...

It could be valuable, worthless, or something in between.

Knowing exactly what it is, and its condition, are essential to placing even a ballpark value on it.

If you're not able (or willing) to >>post a picture<<, you absolutely, positively must fully describe it if you expect anyone to ID and/or value it. At the very least you must post
    • Every word and number on each side, specifying which side you are describing
    • A description of each design element, including which direction any portrait is facing
    • What metal it appears to be made of
    • Whether it appears to be cast or struck
    • Whether the letters/numbers and design elements show wear, and if so how much
    • Whether or not the coin shows any luster
