Fingers crossed we will be in a better position in November.

We may not see another major coin show until 2023.

I hope that isn't the case. While online/internet sales have exploded,
there are many of us who like to hold the coin before we make the
purchase. I only attend a 3-4 major shows ie. ANA and Whitman, the
smaller shows don't have coins I'm interested in outside of Hungarian
coins. At larger shows I just go to catch up with friends. Many here on
the forum like to buy coins in hand and are well rewarded for their efforts.
Hope fully smaller venues will reopen for the sake of the collector and
    the hobby.

Yep, MFD e-mailed me about the cancellation.
But if I hadn't already known, I strongly suspected.

I'm confident that the Nov show will be a go, but where.
The Baltimore Convention Center had cancelled the previous shows even before Whitman did.

    I'm getting prepared.
Had my first COVID vaccine shot today, Moderna variety.

It'll be before that, but the number of them may decline. Quite frankly there were starting to be too many of them before everything happened. Every week or every other week there was a "major" show somewhere. With how many people have discovered the internet now it's likely less people will be inclined to pay significant amounts of money to travel to shows long term. Winter Fun will probably be the exception as it's an excuse for a winter vacation and the first couple shows anywhere may do well as people just want to get out and do something, but a lot of people have learned you don't have to be flying around to shows to find nice stuff

Heard that! I live in the Maryland area. I don't think there is a month that goes by through the year that I can't find at least 1 show within driving distance to attend. It got to the point where I said enough is enough! lol. I would go just to chat (and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that) and talk to friends! Too many coins ( and shows), too little time.

Pretty much. Even the timing of them was always suspect having Long Beach and Baltimore back to back. Local shows weren't much better either. We would have shows that are twice a year on back to back weekends sometimes and the second one was never really worth going to as you just saw everything the week before
