This coin was so tattered I had to show it to everyone. I don't know what kind of life it had, but boy did it have one. Can anyone spot an error here, I just can't tell. But it would be cool if this badly beaten coin went it's whole life with people thinking it was a dud and it really being a star. And holy crap, does anyone have advice on how to take high detailed pics on coins that are beaten up, cause the different angles of the surface play terrible trick on my camera, and there are dark spots, and shiny spot that don't mix well together? I tried more light and it just made it worse, I finally settled on a low light shot, but was not happy.
Sorry but the only error that I can see with the coin is that it landed on the road instead of in someone's pocket! Frank
I put a 10x loupe in front of my camera lens to get my pics. take a look at some of my pics on here. see what you think. I have some on error coins under (yorkiedad5). hope this helps? i have trouble with the light too . just have to keep trying BILL
Another good idea for taking pix. I got a very unusual, to me, error in my searching this morning. Now, HOW do I upload it so others can see it here?
