connor1, I for one don't mind Lincoln popping up. I been following your posts and have been enjoying them very much. Thank you for sharing. I only have one train vignette that I can think of at the moment and that's on a old stock certificate that I have somewhere.

2 :thumb: from me too! the US should proudly display true artistry on our currency AND coins. Dead presidents need to go.

America is so full of great people, great architecture, great art, great natural landmarks .. heck even man made landmarks! We have some of the best open plains, some of the best farming, some of the best mountain ranges, some of the best hills, valleys, tree grooves, fruit grooves, mountain vistas .. we have buildings built hundreds of years ago, we have history stretching back 300 years, and over 200 as a united country, the US has some of the most diverse animal, bird, and insect base, we have deserts, swamps, lakes and oceans. The US is one of the most diverse in the world for almost any type of people, type of land, type of pretty much ANYTHING....

and we showcase it all with dead presidents that display ZERO artistic quality.

I should stop saying no more dead presidents ... i mean, most of the nations presidents did actually do great things! US presients do and should be honored by being placed on our coinage and currency. But surround the portraits in TRUE US STYLE! With Art, With celebration, with the fabric that IS the United States of America!

I look at currency from around the world. France, Mexico, England, Australia.. and one my favorite - Suriname.... and just so many others have incorperated a balance of art. Heck, i may not like all the notes from every country, but love it or hate it, you can form an opinion. The use of vibrant colors, the use of objects of national pride ...

    my appologies... enough rambling!
