Brandon is a good guy who worked for Adrian Crane at Anaconda until Snakes went to Costa Rica (a long saga). Brandon and an ex-JJ Teaparty empoyee formed Polaris Numismatics, but the website http://www.polariscoins.com/inventory.asp has a lousy 4 coins in inventory. I believe Brandon may have decided to work for someone else. Does anyone have the real skinny?
Didn't know Brandon started up a new website, that must be very recent since there are so little coins. Brandon's been selling on eBay as Polaris for several months now: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Polaris-Numismatics Definitely hasn't lost his photo skills either:
There are more on the website, but you have to click around to get to them. Not much more than 4 - maybe 10 or so. I wonder what toned the back of that 1890-O Morgan.
There are more coins on the Ebay store than the website, but mostly low-end "stuff". Meethinks these are consignments or personal items.
I saw Brandon at Long Beach when RLM and I attended last fall, he was not there this spring.......I'll give him a call and see whats up. He has slowed his postings on the PCGS boards as well. Great guy.
When Brandon first opened Polaris coins, they had their own website which was the same format as the Anaconda website. In fact, I could see all of my previous invoices from Anaconda. Suddenly, the website disappeared and it reroutes you straight to the E-Bay store. His inventory is more than four coins, but it is not very extensive. After the thread last week about the SLQ, I have been wondering if Brandon is doing photo work for this E-Bay seller. http://cgi.ebay.com/1886-S-S-1-NGC-MS66_W0QQitemZ150359438665QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCoins_US_Individual?hash=item23021ef549&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A1|72%3A1205|293%3A2|294%3A50 Some of the photos look a lot like Brandon's and others bare similarities to Mark Goodman's. I am seriously considering consigning my Roosevelt Dime collection to Brandon to sell on E-Bay along with some Morgan Dollars. Any information on his current status is very important to me.
