Formatting the half cent images went quicker than I thought. With respect to the 1932-S quarter there is no indication of die polishing on the upper half of the reverse. Speedy, here's a closer image of the mintmark: I see no doubling under 9x. The upper loop has been filled and the lower loop is bridged leaving a pit in the middle. You're correct. In hand I only see the nicks on the front of the neck and at at the top of the head. Under 3x a lot of the scratches show when I tilt the coin.
