Just got an email from apmex. They're having a sale till Sunday. Lots of clad Roosevelt proofs,Jefferson proofs and 60's-90's clad BU-MS Washington quarters -99 cents each.
World coins are also included in the .99 cent APMEX sale too for those interested. Additionally, from APMEX this week, alerted to us by CT member Grbose, there is a current promo code you can use,"From now until July 18th you can receive a $5 dollar discount on any order of $50 and a $10 discount on any order of at least $100 from American Precious Metals Exchange www.apmex.com all you have to do is mention www.CoinSpace.org when placing your order by phone or type CoinSpace in the coupon section if ordering online."
Thanks for posting this! I just tried to snag about 70 Lincoln and Jefferson Proofs.. By the time I hit checkout I lost 3 of them, but I still did pretty darn well. oh and thanks for the promo code! It worked and I saved 5 bucks.
Yeah, I can't believe the sale lasts till July 19 with the available quantities they had listed. Already saw on another board where someone bought $200+ from there. Unless they add more, it'll be over in no time.
yea because the inventory is rapidly decreasing, i would have loved to see what was up there when it started! All the best stuff surely went fast...
I got/read the email very late last night, actually around 2am EST this morning. The sale had already started by then, clock was counting down so anyone in the know about the forthcoming sale would have had first dibs.
I have never bought collector coins from APMEX but like them for bullion. I have found them to be professional and easy to deal with. I was going to buy some gold when it went below 900 but it looks like that might be awhile now...
Hey great! The US coins are all gone but I bought some nickels for my collection, a couple silver proof sets and some bullion. Thanks!
Hello Everyone! Saw this thread and wanted to jump in. This sale took off like a wlidfire.. in fact so many people hit the site within a few minutes of the sale, it almost crashed our servers. We have quadruple redundent systems and the bandwidth was still at about 300% capacity.. I say this to let you guys know if there were some coins that you missed, it wasn't intentional on our part... 70% of the inventory on sale was gone in the first few hours of the sale. So many people grabbing a very limited qty of coins in literally nanoseconds... crazy. Stay tuned to us though. My team here is always thinking up new and exciting deals for you guys (sometimes too exciting aparently ) As an update.. the US coins are sold out and World coins are down to about 83 items now.. they'll likely be gone by EOB today. Thanks for the positive feedback here and via emails.. we appreciate hearing from everyone and want to take care of everyone as best we can. Have a great day everybody.
Congrats on the amazing business rush! Wish the whole economy was able to enjoy this flush of activity again but I'm glad someone is able to report success. I recently took advantage of the July 4th promotion in a recent order I placed. I really appreciate your offers as well as a clear cut easy to use interface that isn't junked up with too many charts and reports on bullion. Too much pretension in that stuff which an educated consumer can find elsewhere on the net anyway. You're clear, straight-forward approach is definitely a driving factor for customer success and satisfaction. Thanks again.
Krispy, glad you are getting what you need from APMEX. We all are very focused on taking care of PEOPLE - something many other sites seems to neglect in favor of numbers and charts as you mentioned. Thank You for your dedication to us! If weren't for people like you, we wouldn't be able to do what we do in the first place.
Hi everyone, just noticed that APMEX is having a $9.99 or less sale. Lots of different coin and currency, misc. various grades and some US silver in nice grades too if you're looking to fill some collection holes.
Most of it is way too worn and low grade and wasn't thinking to invest in any of it, just thinking about resale potential around the holidays when things tend to move better.
