Because I got a new camera, I'm re-imaging my collection, many of the coins for the third time (that's not the fun part).
So as I go along I'll post some of them.
These I categorize as part of my "Special" collection since I don't actually have a Mercury dime set.

You must be proud of those especially that 16 D! :D
The toning on the bottom on the reverse is very nice
Can't wait to see your other coins, I thought you had good pictures already, but now, well I just can't wait! :D

Those are AWESOME coins Kanga! Quick question though, why not complete the set? You have the 3 powerhouse keys in strong grades, so a complete set would be a cakewalk at this point. :)

For some reason I don't know, Mercury dimes never rose to the top of my interest level.
I do have a short set (1941-45) in raw MS and a few others, but I never really went after them.
Lincoln cents and Morgan and Peace dollars were my early interests.
Then after a 10 year gap I filled in a couple other sets. WL halves and Buffalo nickels were two.
Then I got into my type set and that took a lot of time and all my collecting budget.
Now that it's essentially done I'm starting on a short set of IHCs. I've got the keys. Now I'm after the 1885-1909 range in years. And good coins.

That's a great 16-D, particularly for the grade. Love the color on both sides. Great photos also. I think the Mercury is a great design but I can't bring myself to collect something that small. Nickels are bad enough.

Very choice examples! 3 lovely coins, well photographed. Thanks for posting them!
Interesting that the 16-d and 42/1 have an almost identical die rotation.

The slight die rotation on the 16-D exists. I forgot that I was going to add that bit of info to the image. Easy enough to fix.

The apparent die rotation on the 42/1 is bogus. I didn't correct for an initial misalignment when I took the pic.

Thanks for all the positive comments.
