Frankenstein note

    o_O Um...the 14 is a plate number, yes, but the letter in front of it matches the letter from the plate position. Here we see an F and an H, so they're not from the same note, as Dialup said.

    I have read over this thread and a couple of questions linger with this "note". I see that the note was given when you were paid off for some kind of voyage. Was this from working on some kind of ship or a yacht? And I am quite curious as to ~when~ you were given the note as it was clearly made in the 1990's given the design of the $10 notes used and the 1988A series date of the $1 note.

    working on an oil tanker - 1991 or close to that date
