north american coin

    ok it silver with a eagel on the front carrying a log i think, and has the words " 999 fine silver 1 oz argent fin 999" the date is 1982.

    and the back has a pic of north america and hawaia in corner and reads "one once troy", " silver eagel", " monex international ltd" and then has a monex logo under the pic

    so can anyone tell me its name and whats it worth

    It's a silver round, not a coin. The value is equal to the metal content - about $7.00

    Hi Overkill, and welcome to the forum. Did 7999 other folks really beat you to the draw on choosing that ID? ;)
    Monex International is a bullion dealer (among other things) in Southern California. Your particular round was very possibly targeted at Canadians, with its English/French duplicate legends.

    thanks and no its my name on all my forum sites and im not a coin collector i just got a bunch of them from my grandpa and my next door neibhor who found a box of old coins in his attic so as i get my digital camera workin im gonna start postin a bunch of coins with pics and sellin them cheap too cause i got like 10 of these v nickels from 1912
