Real Quick Question about Chersonesos Hemidrachm

    Was trying to describe this coin and can't quite figure out what is pictured in one of the quadrants on the reverse. I thought at first it was a griffin's head ... or maybe a weird helmet ... but now I'm not so sure. What do you think?

    I'd say a boarshead (Chrysaor probably), but maybe also a sturgeon?
