Went to the ATM today to take out some money and out came a gorgeous Series 2004A $20 note. Serial number is GK00028994*. Note is still crisp as there are no folds in it. The corners are in near perfect shape. Overall, it looks unc, but those who collect notes may say AU. This is the lowest * that I have found and my first UNC one. I have only one other star in my collection and that is a $1* that a buddy of mine gave me. No pics yet, but I was excited and just wanted to share that with everyone. So of course here comes the question......is there any value to this? Thanks!
very nice find. :thumb: i know in our ATM we dont usually have new crisp bills. they just stick together to bad. we get out shipment for the ATM and they are new style 20's but usually circulated to some degree
yes, there is a value to the note - at least $20 Congrats on your find! crisp stars are cool .. low serials are cool, and finding them all together is even better lol :thumb:
I don't know if I can be drawn away that easily.... but there is something exciting about holding a crisp new note in your hands. :thumb: Here is the pic that I promised.
Don't be swayed by mere paper and ink... just think of the gravity of an ounce of beautiful glowing gold metal in your hands. bwahahahahah!
You can do both ya know. I love the coin section. I love the paper section. I guess I'm bi-sectional....
Read and understand these words. There's a ton of scarce notes to be found in MODERN paper money at FACE VALUE. Just need to know what you're looking for.
