Here is a nother neat scrip token I purchased today. I have not had any luck finding any info on this one either. I was just wondering if anyone had any info as to where this one was from. It reads JOHN MARCHLENSKI. Picked this one up for a quarter today :thumb:. I am still looking for a book on these tokens. Thanks again
Nice buy for 25 cents! John Marchlenski was a grocer in Wheeling, WV and was listed in the 1914 Bradstreet. My reference only indicated dime and half denominations. These references are hard to find. I think I gave this info before, but in case I did not, I have an 80 page soft cover _ A Checklist and Aid to Attributing Ingle System Scrip _ by Lloyd E. Wagaman, 1987, published by Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio Token and Medal Society.
Thanks for the info cwtokenman. I am becoming a fan of these Ingle tokens and hope I can find a book on them soon. Fastfun1111
There is currently a copy listed on abesbooks at $30. http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?sts=t&tn=Attributing+Ingle+System+Scrip&x=38&y=15 Amazon lists two copies, one from the same seller as Abesbooks and one at $120 from Omnibooks. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_g...ywords=attributing+ingle+system+scrip&x=0&y=0

Consolidate posts when possible (I'm OCD about that, even though I forget to sometimes ) Also, any offers to buy or sell are prohibited in anything but the open forum. And I'd take my email off here if I was you......
