I have been playing on ebay and selling some extra coins here and their. I've been thinking about dumping a couple more peace dollars. For you seasoned sellers on ebay, when have you had the best luck ending your auctions? I've always tried to end them Sunday afternoon, but I think that is more because that is when I ahve time to place things online. Does it really matter? I always try to do a seven day auction also.
I don't sell too much on eBay, but when I do I have then end around 5-6pm Pacific time on Sunday. That way folks on the east coast don't have to stay up too late to snipe. I just figure Friday and Saturday night are bad to end since lots of folks aren't home. Monday might be bad too as people are usually busier w/ work after a weekend away??? Would like to hear what the ebay experts think though.
Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings are great, 6-7 pm Pacific time. Never end on a holiday, big game day, etc etc. No need to limit your ending times convienient to you listing time. Ebay has Turbo lister which is free as well as Auctiva which just started charging $9.95 a month. With Auctiva, you get 12 photos per auction as compared to Ebays 1 free pic, as well as unlimited scheduling, even months in advance, Auctive also has free templates as opposed to Ebays 10 cent charge for listing designer. I would never use anything else but Auctiva...I tried turbo lister and found it not half as user friendly as the Auctiva system. YOu also get rotating items in your listing showing other items you have for sale.
