colorful DMPL

Here is a another recent pickup and is one of my only DMPL's with full color one on one side. The color is pretty vibrant on this one, in an old fattie holder.

Wow, that is a beauty. Kinda of a "best of both worlds" coin. I love it!

 

Amazing. That is unique. I bet Lehigh would love that thing. I have never a seen a toned DMPL like that!!

 

I was real surprised when I turned it over and all that color was there. I did not need another 83-O for any reason but couldnt say no.

 

Nice coin! I wonder if this was an album toned coin.

I'm not the biggest fan of Morgans or DMPL Morgans, but that's a coin that even I love. Congrats!

Sure looks like an album toned coin , solidly toned on the obverse , and mostly around the outside on the obverse . IMO
That Golden toning on the reverse is fabulous .

You guys are not going to believe this, but I prefer DMPL coins without any color. The color can distract away from the contrast IMO. It is a nice coin though.

I do too, but I think one nice DMPL toned coin (like this) would add great variety to any collection. But, for the most part I would want my DMPLs to be blast white.

Absolutely amazing! I'm still trying to get my hands on one of these but they're so dang expensive.
