I'm assuming you checked the 60 and 60-D for small dates! And anything pre-1950 is a good find now-a-days, as far as I'm concerned!
I went through 20 rolls with week. 5 Rolls from each bank. I didn't find a single error this time and I didn't even find a wheat penny. But it keep looking you may find something!!
Well, here is what I use. The first image is 1960 LARGE date. Notice how the lines hit the '9'. The next image is for 1960 SMALL date. Notice how the lines shoot above the '9'.
Very neat reference PC. I never knew to look for that. The zero is ever so slightly smaller as well but can be pretty hard to notice without a loupe. The '6's look different for sure. I think the top tail is longer on the large date.
congratz i normally don't find that many wheats in one roll, my record is 56 for a box of pennies ($25)...today I found and VF20(ish) 1917 so I was happy also found this 1982 that loooks double struck on the rim, I'll post pics later probs tomorrow im tired now...and my bank laughed at me when I ordered another 6 boxes of pennies haha...what do you think they'll say when I ask them to order me $1000.00 in halves when I pick up the pennies....also I pull out the 82's and earlier just in case copper sky rockets
can you imagine getting (13) 1972 pennies in one roll!!!! none have errors!!!! now imagine (13) 1972s in a roll and they ALL have errors lmao they would be pickin me up off the floor lol
