Camera For Coins

    What is the model number of the used cheap Olympus?

    Here are a few pics taken with a 3 year old Olympus D-510, 2 MP 3X optical zoom. The Morgan is my avatar. A couple of $20 gold pics for a comparison of gold to silver.

    I use a Canon Powershot A75. Great little camera with a nice macro and intuative menu interface for the digital part. Its down under $200 now and has some of the best color on the market. When I want to get REAL close to a coin, I use the macro feature and picture the coin through a standard 8X loop (plastic little cup shapped ones). If your looking for a dedicated coin camera, the Digital blue is the way to go by far $30 - $50 on ebay.
