Its the same coin. Between its appearance in the Gorny and Mosch auction and on eBay from Lanz, it was tooled. The striking flaw on the left side was flattened out, and the missing legend restored.

Not I, not I. Although I had seen this aureus on coinarchives and when it was on ebay, I didn't pay enough attention to it. A friend pointed it out to me. What likely happened was that someone purchased the coin the first auction, worked on it, and then sold it to Lanz. Their ebay operation moves fast and furious, thousands of coins go through there. It would be more than easy for something to slip by.
