really intrigued to see what my friends here have in the way of Baltic silver issues. Especially Lithuania. I have attached a pretty poor photo of my Latvia 5 Lati. this type, even in MS examples seems to have weird surfaces, so I find them hard to detect cleaning. Mine certainly has had some cleaning in its life. Posting is open to coins of Eastern Europe- loosely defined. Slavic? post em. Cyrillic? Post it. Can't wait to see what my friends here have. I posted a similar thread on CU about 2 weeks ago while CT was down. I think I will get more fun responses here.
I will likely take my unc Lithuanian set I've built to photograph for this thread. the 2 euro designs for the past couple years (Žemaitjia and Hill of Crosses have personal significance) are on my list of coins I hope to get in 2021. Unfortunately won't be swapping until my package from mid December makes it to Slovakia. But, the tracking number has had ZERO change since. I'm mad as I can be, as the website won't even allow me to file a claim.
Slavic = Slovakia ? if so.... 2001 Slovakia beetle cross that got me interested in collecting "Coins with Insects"...mintage-10,200, 500 Korun denomination and a 14 year hunt on Ebay for this amazing 2001 beetle cross proof version very low mintage-1,800...500 Korun denomination and a 3 sided 2001 Slovakia "Coins with Hands"...mintage-13,000, 500 Korun denomination, reverse plastic holder is cracked, but the coin itself is perfect...
I've seen you post the beetle coins before, I liked them 2 years ago and I like them now. I am not an insectophile myself but am intrigued to see more of your bugs on coins collection.
I have not added all my "Coins with Insects" yet, but you can see what I have now... Link: https://collectivecoin.com/spirityoda/all-coins/nJ4jcxZJePbbAuChbguO

I don't own much silver from the Baltic States and Eastern Europe. Most of what I collect is primarily from Western Europe, The Americas, and Japan. However, I've picked up a few pieces from foreign bulk boxes over the years. Russian Empire:
