In a a ten dollar roll(halves). 5.50 in clad( five bicentennial). The real kicker 9 silver. Four 40%, Three 1964's, and two franklin's(1963D, and 1952). I had almost given up in asking for rolls. My bank apparently has another roll searcher(looks everyday apparently).

Nice haul! But may be time to find another branch for rolls if possible due to the competition.

Received two wheat cents in change today myself: 1941 and 1950D both dirty and with lots of verdigris.

Spraypaint the edges with silver paint and reroll in various wrappers. May tick them off enough to quit. At least you will make it less fun for the ones who only look at the edges. :D

I searched another 50$ in nickels today.
I found several older coins, all the way back to 1946. Then about half way through I found a nice 1935 buffalo nickel! My first "big" roll searching find.

    A great day today!

So I actually work at a bank and in the past, people have brought some good stuff in. A couple people brought in some Morgans and Peace dollars and I have always told them about what they had. A couple times they would take them back but sometimes they don't really care. Well yesterday we were pulling one of the coin bins from the coin machine cause it was full and right there on the top was a handfull of 64's! My assistant and I looked through the top portion of the bin and pulled out

    58 1964 halves and
    31 40% halves!!!!!!

I couldn't believe it. I have been ordering boxes for a while every few weeks and the best I've done was something like 2 silver halves in a box. Well this find certainly made up for all of the searching I've done.

    We're gonna split it. :)

    Not bad, eh?

Walking down the street this morning, passing by a cafe, spotted a penny laying on the sidewalk, a wheat cent laying wheat side up: 1957 D. Has some fresh nicks on the obverse rim from laying on the concrete and aside from dirtiness from being in circulation it's not that bad looking for a find.
