Has the Mint mentioned yet when they are going to release the 09 Lincoln commemorative? I imagine it will not come out until after all the penny rolls are out. I had also heard that the Mint was going to come out with a 09 unc ASE W this year for the general public to buy. Was that pure speculation? Or is this actually going to happen at some point during the year? SCG
At one time they listed the Lincoln Chronicles set as due for release in the "Summer". Then it kind of disappeared and as far as I can tell there has been no official word since. They might wait until all 4 pennies are out. Or it might just show up unannounced any day now on the mint website. That's happened before. The consensus is that they held back 50,000 of the dollar coins for the Chronicles set, so at some point they should be for sale, but nobody knows when exactly.
Nothing definite about these two issues yet, however, the mint is accepting subscription orders for the ASE's.
