    I hear ya. It’s kinda hard to convert the youngsters to enjoy coins. I just hope they stay away from the mint

    Yeah I’m an Abe lover. Wish I had just 1 civil war coin. It ain’t gonna happen. But it’s one the bucket list. If you got a bunch you should open an album so we all can see. That would be great for me

    This is a CWT Store Card for a Butcher in NY. Fredrick Rollwagen, Jr. The obverse is NY630BI-2a and the reverse is blank. Someone put a hole in many many years ago.
    Not sure if the reverse side was a blank planchet or not. Hope some of the experts can shed some light on it. Thanks.

    i live up the road from the mine that the metal came from to build that boat!!! and further on up the road (maybe 30 min drive) is the furnace and mines where the chains that went across the hudson to blockade the dreaded redcoats was forged as well a lot of history here in ct, the first mine is located in roxbury ct, but back then it had a differnet name
