It wasn't my intention... Originally I wasn't going to say a thing about it but I wasn't very specific in why I wanted to buy something for $5... And why does it matter to you? I don't ever talk to you and I see no reason for you to insult me

Why do you guys sit there and like people's insults? It's pure stupidity

He isn't insulting you. He is politely saying that you shouldn't be advertising your own coin forum on another forum. I am sure this is against the CT rules. Isn't there no advertising unless your paying the forum owner?

Stupidity? That sure sounds more like an insult to me than what I said. By the way, I used EXACTLY your words ;-)

And no it wasn't insulting you or anyone for that matter... It's stupid that you guys go around liking the insults people put out on the internet. AND like I said before I wasn't advertising my website... I simply stated that I was trying to fund my website and nothing further. Don't put words in my mouth that never came out of to begin with

LOL. link to it is here. in the terms and conditions all this Paypal thing ended in June and July of 2020. Sorry my dude, gotta read the fine print. took me a while trying to find out when it started or ended, they don't make it clear so I went to the fine print and there it was.

CT rules allow you to link a website in your signature. CT rules also require that we respect one another.

I respect your ambition, but the members here are really just trying to help (in multiple ways). As is typical with most forums, there are rules against advertising (including casual talk) about a site you have or other, competing sites. If you think about it, it's just common sense and decency. As for promotions...that sound like gimmicks...the older crew have probably stepped into something similar in our past lives...we survived the sins of youth and are just trying to look out for you. As for how you invest your time and effort, that's a personal choice especially when it comes to work and making some money. I was lucky as a kid: a morning and afternoon paper route allowed me to make money and create a flow of change to search for collectibles. A win-win scenario if you consider a few bucks a week to wake up early and peddle several miles in the rain, cold, snow for a couple dozen customers. But I stayed out of trouble.

As for a means to an end, CRH can produce some nice coins that you might achieve some return on. But like my paper routes, it'll be more work than reward (financial). But there are other rewards to CRH events...the occasional lucky strike or the hoard of coins from a collection dump. You never know. And to make it productive, you'll need to expand from just old and just silver. You need to understand what you are looking for and what's in front of you. Many high grade coins in the mix, but which ones to post for profit? The learning process you go through would be worth it, unless you have a real need for cash. If that is the case, a real job would be your best bet.

What you may not realize is that it costs the banks money to order the boxes of rolls. It wasn't so bad 15+ years ago, but with the price of silver skyrocketing like it did, the number of CRHers has increased 1,000-fold. The banks just can't afford to maintain this "freebie swap" for non-commercial accounts. Of course, it's your prerogative to switch banks, but don't be surprised if all banks don't change their policy.
