Brown carpet and tiny copper coins never mix!

It's a Madurai Nayaka coin depicting the Hindu god Ganesha in seated position.

Upper right to middle quadrant.
You need to get out the vac.

 

It took me a while..... Upper left about a third of the way down. What did I win?

 

Honestly can't see it.

 

I don't think so..... I don't know how you do that marking up thing on a photo...... If the photo were a clock face, look where 10:00 would be on the face.... Now that I see it, I can't see anything else!

 

I see it bottom left corner.

 

It's about 10" SW of the chair leg. About 8 o'clock. Click on the pic to enlarge it.

 

I use my metal detector

 

Here it is.

 

Two ways I would use: cheek side down on the carpet, noting any irregular bumps or unexplained rises, or running your hands over the carpet, noting any movement of objects. Beyond that, I vote for the metal detector!

 

Man, talk about a needle in a haystack. I'll wait for the answer, ho hum, I'm waiting!

 

You must be a young man if you can get your cheek down to the carpet on purpose!

I think the problem is that they do mix. Or at least "blend".

 

No, I'm not. I can still do it. I said nothing about having to get up! That's when I call the wife! (And hope she gets there before the dog licks me to death!)
