I have a 1982 Roosevelt dime. The two looks like it has either been rubbed partially off or I was hoping it was a problem with the die. Has anyone ever heard of a die problem with the 1982? I've read about the missing mintmark but haven't found anything about the date. I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow morning if I can find my camera. I'm kind of new at this collecting thing Thanks
Welcome to the Forum drbill! Without a picture it is hard to say but it sound like a fill grease die or a strike through. This is common and does not add any more value to the coin. But to make sure post a picture. Does the dime have a mintmark?
